About Our Team

The Office of Communications is composed of dedicated professionals who bring together expertise in journalism, web development, graphic design, and international communications. Working as part of the UPF International Secretariat, our team ensures that the message of peace reaches audiences around the world through multiple channels.

Our Director

Kathleen Hwang serves as the Director of the Office of Communications. She oversees all international communications efforts, including press releases, media relations, website content, and coordination with regional communications teams. Under her leadership, the Office has expanded its global reach and strengthened its digital presence.

Web & Design

Sun-Ae Rodriguez, as Web Manager, is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of UPF's international web presence, ensuring timely publication of news and resources. Karen Wai, as Designer, creates visual materials that maintain brand consistency across all UPF communications, from event banners to digital publications.

Collaboration

The Office of Communications works closely with UPF regional offices around the world. Each region has its own communications coordinators who provide local content, photography, and event coverage. Together, this global network ensures comprehensive reporting on UPF's worldwide activities.
